Good day there fellow gaming geeks and geekettes!! It’s the Applemonkey here with the following statement… ‘These three games should be in your collection!’.  I know it’s a bold move to claim such a statement, but I believe that they should belong to your video game family. The following games I will mention are your perfect 2 player games.  You might think I am going to mention several HTF’s, but I am not.  I am going to mention games that you might be able to find at your local true game store, swap meet or the ever popular ebay.  
 
GAME 1:    TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2 : ARCADE GAME
Oh what a game?!  TMNT 2 simply put, is the perfect 2 player game for you nintendo nerds!!  You can choose from all four of your favorite half shell turtles to do battle and save that snazzy April O’Neil from the dorky Bebop and Rocksteady to Baxter Stockman, General Tragg and of course, the Shredder!!  TMNT 2 provides a perfect blend of gameplay, graphics and of course, sound!!  Take it from me,  You can’t go wrong on having a romantic evening with your special someone with cheesy thin crust pizza, a few frosty glasses of chocolate milk and TMNT 2!! Yup, take that to the bank!!

GAME 2:   CHIP AND DALES RESCUE RANGERS
Thank you Capcom on not only providing that great Mega Man series, ‘Super Joe’ in Bionic Commando but also providing those grand Disney games.  One of them being Chip and Dale’s Rescue Rangers.  This game is a must to play with your fellow nintendo nerd.  So what is your objective in this game??  Go save that lovely Gadget, yup I think she’s hot, from the evil Fat Cat.  This game also has that great gameplay, sound and graphics you expect from your NES!!  How could I forget  that special bond with the cartoon.  Just hearing that theme takes me back!! 

 
      *HONORABLE MENTION*  Chip and Dale’s Rescue Rangers 2 also offers the same expectations from the first.  Only problem, it just has to be a HTF game, hard to find game.   Happy hunting for it!!

GAME 3:  TECMO SUPER BOWL

What an upgrade!! Ok the regular Tecmo Bowl is just a classic, but Tecmo Super Bowl, to be honest, is quite amazing!!  Not only did the playbook become 4 running and 4 passing plays, which in turn makes defense a bit more exciting.  In this version you are capable to shake loose a tackler, but sometimes that dreaded fumble might happen.  Passing is sometimes a bit hard to complete, unless you caught your dorky competition sleeping.  Which in turn, you must learn the art of running!!  Not only is this game a perfect 2 player game, it could also be used for your next nerdy NES competition.  Did I mention that sweet half time show?! Yup it’s more better than that wardrobe malfunction a few years back. I guarantee!!

     *HONORABLE MENTION*  there is heavy rumor that there are a few game carts floating around out there that contain this year’s line-ups?! I SAY WAT?!  You heard, or read, it right!!  -READY FOR THE SHAMELESS PLUG-  if you live in Southern California hit me up on twitter or hit me on myspace
