Yup, no bullshit! Another Pirates of the Caribbean game is coming to an 360 and PS3, and get this, its an action RPG! This Propaganda developed action-RPG looks pretty good and takes place before the films, opening up a whole new chapter and giving the game a different feel.

The game’s combat system includes light and heavy attacks along with pistol attacks that can be used in combos. On top of this are special moves that need to be charged up, like in fightings games. The games story, along with other things within it, are affected by moral choices made by the player, much like in games liek Mass Effect. The game’s developers are trying to make those moral choices not so black and white, but still building your character into the role of a good or evil pirate. Your abilities  and even the look of your pirate ship are affected by that role.

The developers really seem to put an emphasis on amazing looking worlds that will feature some familiar locations from the films.  The game will also feature the open sea and a ship combat system. I’m hoping it will be one of the many highlights of the game, and will emulate the epic ship battles in the films!
