I know, I know, it’s late notice but hey– it wont stop you from playing some games and having a good time, right? Hope to see you there because we’re going to be bringing the holidays back with some 8-bit cocoa.

In conjunction with the Attract Mode videogame culture shop, Meat Bun T-shirt design collective and LA Game Space, Giant Robot is proud to host Game Night, an event that takes place at GR2 every two months. Each evening will feature a different developer and its games in a relaxed, community-building setting. The fourth Game Night will feature holiday-themed gaming.

The special games will include:

- An X-mas edition of Vlambeer’s hit indie game Super Crate Box made exclusively for Game Night

- Arthur Lee’s Merry Gear Solid games

- A custom “holiday pack” edition of 8-BITar Hero, which mixes the Rock Band experience with old-school Nintendo games

Hot cocoa and cookies will be served, and 8-bit Christmas tunes will be played at GR2 and gr/eats. This will be an easy way to mix in some fun while taking care of holiday shopping at the Giant Robot shops on Sawtelle.
