1980 was an amazing year.
The best Star Wars movie was released, the U.S. Hockey Team beat the Russians and John Lennon was–oh, that’s right.
Well, with the exception of that last event. 1980 still gave people many great moments. I suppose. Aside from all the aforementioned events, the world also saw the release of Game & Watch: Ball, the very first in the long series of Game & Watch games from Nintendo.
What’s that? You have never seen one let alone played the thing? Fear not, mortal, for Nintendo has just released a faithful working replica that is available right now to Club Nintendo members! As you can see from the photo below, it is an exact replica.
That’s right! For 1,200 points, you can get a 31 year-old game which requires you to juggle balls at break neck speed. For the avid NIntendo collector, this is an absolute must-have item.
If juggling games aren’t your thing, Nintendo also released this spiffy reversible bag (available in red and blue) for 250 points. The bag will have one of three random Mario icons.
