If you’re a Metal Gear fan and you own a 3DS, chances are, you are planning to buy the remake of Naked Snake’s finest adventure to play on the go. Just don’t expect to play the game anytime soon, especially this year.
Konami just recently announced that Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater for the 3DS has been delayed and is now slated for a 2012 release. Japan, on the other hand, will be seeing the game in stores later on this year. No reason was given for the delay.
Let’s hope that no other major title for the 3DS gets pushed back to next year, or else the handheld’s holiday lineup is going to look very bleak.
