ATLUS has just announced their annual costume contest, once again giving fans the opportunity to show how awesome ATLUS is by stroking their ego with themed costumes of characters from their games.  This year’s contest will be a little different and include categories for costumes of characters tailored to specific ATLUS games.  These new categories will include best King of Fighters-themed outfit, best Persona-themed outfit, and naughtiest best Catherine-themed outfit.

“With so many games with characters that fans have really developed a strong connection to, we felt that it made sense to give each of these categories some special recognition,” said Tim Pivnicny, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

The prizes for the winners will be as follows:

Grand Prize:  $300 gift card

Special Category Winners:  $200 gift cards

4 Random Winners (that’s right, you might still have a chance):  $25 gift cards

And the first 200 accepted entries (I guess this means the Catherine costumes can’t be too scandalous) will receive a Steam code for a free PC copy of ATLUS & ACE Team’s zany action/strategy hybrid Rock of Ages.

Entries are being accepted now until November 11, 2011 at 11:59am PDT. Voting will begin at 12:01pm on November 11, 2011 and end at 11:59pm on November 18, 2011. The contest is open to all U.S. and Canada residents who are over the age of 18.
