Get into the beat and test your rhythmic skills as an old DS favorite comes to a Wii console near you.
Rhythm Heaven: Fever, the sequel to the DS cult classic, gets players tapping their feet and feeling the groove of catchy music while performing various tasks on screen at the same time. One moment, you’ll be tightening screws while tapping the A button of your Wii remote to the rhythm of the beat, and the next you’ll be constructing robots in a warehouse, kicking footballs at the right time, and shaking a tambourine with a monkey at the same time.
The game is a ton of fun, easy to play, but difficult to master. It took me a couple of tries to get the concept of some of the mini games but after some quick practice, I was shooting bulls eyes on targets and hitting the links in golf like a pro, all while (literally) moving to the beat to the catchy song playing at the same time.
Toss in a multiplayer mode that tests who has better rhythm, a bunch of unlockables, and a new batch of mini games and you get a worthy successor to Rhythm Heaven on the DS. Pick up the rhythm fever on February 13. You won’t want to miss beating this beat.
