StreetPass Los Angeles To Host Kid Icarus: Uprising and

Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition Tournaments at The Hollywood Bowl this Sunday!

 

Nintendo 3DS owners are invited to join StreetPass Los Angeles for an afternoon of fun, prizes, and friendly competition at the iconic Hollywood Bowl. From 2:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M., SPLA will be set up at Picnic Area 3 where we will find and crown our SPLA Kid Icarus: Uprising and Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition champions!

 

 

 

 

 

Kid Icarus: Uprising Tournament Rules

2 P.M. – 3 P.M.: On-site Registration (No Fee)

Tournament begins at 3:00 P.M.

Free For All Mode

Small Arena Stage

3-minute time limit

 

 

 

 

 

Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition Tournament Rules

2:00 P.M.—3:00 P.M.—On-site registration (No fee)

Tournament begins at 4:45 P.M.

Lite Control Setting—OFF

Double Elimination

Best 2 out of 3 rounds

Grand Finals—Best 3 out of 5 rounds

 

Raffle and Group Photo

The raffle will take place at 4:00 P.M.

See an SPLA Administrator to get a raffle ticket!

Group Photo will be taken at approximately 4:30 P.M.

 

Parking and Public Transportation

 

There is FREE parking in the main lot. There are about 40-45 parking spaces available. If the adjacent lot becomes available, there will be plenty of parking there. The Hollywood Bowl is located ¾ of a mile north form Hollywood Blvd. and Highland Ave. There is a Metro Red Line station there.

 

Weather

Since we will be outdoors, be prepared with proper clothing and accessories for it may very well be a hot day. Bottled water will be provided.

 

Multiplayer Games

Please bring your other Nintendo 3DS games which support the StreetPass feature for will undoubtedly find someone to play with.
