According to both Go Nintendo and Destructoid, Nintendo has plans to offer weekly sales similar to those of the Team Fortress 2 peddler Steam. While no one seems to have any further details regarding these “weekly deals”, or whether or not they’ll even be for worthwhile titles,  or for software outside of just the 3DS’ eShop titles. In fact, I couldn’t find any mention of such an event on the big red N’s site (I searched everywhere), even though Go Nintendo claims to have found out about it there. At the time of writing this the eShop is down for maintenance. Hopefully, when it comes back up we’ll see some sweet deals on great titles like “Sakura Samurai” or “Might Milky Way”, and not “my first shit game: shovelwaregasm edition notebook editor 3″.
