Fans of dungeon crawlers are probably pretty familiar with Xseed by now, the small Japanese developer that’s made quite a name for itself in recent years by delivering several great dungeon crawlers and jrpgs -most notably from the last couple of years would be Corpse Party, Wizardry, and Solatarobo. Unchained Blades offers players around 60 hours of gameplay, features a nearly fully voiced story, a soundtrack composed by Tsutomu Narita (of Xenoblades fame), and will retail for $29.99; and it is available for download via PSN starting today, but no word on whether or not it’ll play on your slick new Vita though. Also of note, there are plans to release the title by way of eShop on the 3DS sometime this summer, which seems to prove Nintendo really is making a push towards having a more robust digital marketplace. I’m sure this will hold Etrian Odyssey over until its inevitable North American release.
